Plasma TV border question.

Recently I noticed that when I pause live TV on my DirecTV HR22 DVR a roving DirecTV icon appears after a short time. This is fine except that a small amount of it disappears behind the edge of the screen area as it "bounces" off of the "walls".

Any idea why ? Am I missing some portion of the picture ?

I have a Panasonic Viera 50" TV with Native set to "on" on the DTV box.

Easiest way to see if you are "missing part of the picture" is to check the overscan on a test pattern.
