Music Superstars and Sports Legends to Appear at 2004 International CES
2004 International CES

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 2, 2004--Top entertainment and sports celebrities will mingle with the latest and greatest consumer products and technologies at the International CES, January 8-11 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Johnathan "Fata1ity" Wendel - Three time world champion gamer
from the Cyberathlete Professional League. Wendel is
competing in the CyberX Games at the Stardust Hotel and
also will appear at the Auravision's booth South Hall 3-4

Jean Francois - The extreme artist will appear Kodak's booth in
South 3-4 #22600 and on the International CES stage in the Grand
Lobby at 4:30 p.m. January 8.

Elliot Scheiner - The Grammy award winner helped design the audio
system in Acura's new TL. Scheiner will give demonstrations of the
system at Acura's booth in the Silver Exhibit area.

Steve Garvey - The retired professional baseball player for the LA
Dodgers and SD Padres will demonstrate XaviX Baseball from 10:00
a.m. - 1:00 p.m. January 8 -9 at the XaviX/SSD booth South Hall

Josh Hancock - The Shifting Gears TV show celebrity will appear at
the Johnson Controls booth North Hall #5619 on January 11 from 1-3
p.m.

Ara Arslanian - The NHRA Drag Racer will sign autographs at the
StreetGlow booth North Hall #530, January 8-9 from 10:00-11:00
a.m. and 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Playboy and Spike TV Personalities - Photo sessions at VOOM booth,
South Hall #1644, January 8-10, 11:00-1:00 p.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.

MAXIM Magazine Calendar Super Model - A surprise guess will
conduct poster/calendar signing at the Z-Line Designs booth South
Hall #17316, January 9-10 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.


The HDTV Sports Bar returns with the latest in high-definition digital televisions and products and legends from the boxing world. Jake "The Raging Bull" LaMotta, Iran "The Blade" Barkley and Carmen Basilio will be on-hand January 10 from 4:00-5:00 to sign autographs.

When is Playboy-HD scheduled to show up on VOOM ? Will it be strictly PPV, or will you be able to sign up for this channel for a monthly fee ?
 
I don't think anything is "scheduled" to show up on VoOm, if it is, they are not telling us when, it'll show up when it shows up, just like HBO. They have been advertising HBO as live and working since november, and we still don't have it yet, and the people I talk to say not soon either
