Have to agree that most programs are just TV, but some Playboy special and movie from "Adam & Eve" are out of this world. You can't get that quality from DVDs for sure...

It is some of the best HD picture quality I have ever seen. The studio shows shot with HD cameras are superb. Last night I saw a film transfer in HD which was as good as any movie on HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc.

This might be VOOM's best channel for content, dollar value, and PQ.

that show is horrible. Night calls 411 is a lot better. the girls aren't as whiney, and show a lot more. But I wish they'd show more movies on PBHD.

I caught my first episode of "Totally Busted" last night! What a riot, it was about a blind date and this really hot blonde answers the door in a silk robe then changes outfits in front of this guy, getting him all hot & bothered, then her hot roommate shows up and they decide to stay in for the evening. The roommate shows him her new boobs and just when they are getting ready to "do it" and the guy's like totally turned on, they break the news to him. WOW! What a letdown that would be!

No, but I watched it on my 27" TV since my pj is still in the shop. With a new series like this, I'd think they would start filming more HD since they only use 3 cameras.

I just cancelled PlayboyHD. I've had it since it came out and there is no new content it seems. I would like for them to show more of the regular Playboy stuff, I'm really not into watching the call in shows and that's about the only thing on in my time zone in the evenings. The stuff like "The Girl Next Door" and the 50th Playmate Photo shoot are the stuff I like and they show very little of it. If they ever move more in that direction, I may pick it up again.

I think your experience demonstrates why they will take it to a PPV status. Guys tend to subscribe, watch avidly for a few weeks, then cancel when it repeats and/or they get bored with it. I would take advantage of PPV occasionally, but likely would not subscribe. Hopefully the PPV won't be for a single show - but perhaps for a 6, 12 or 24 hour block.

I am thinking of cancelling Playboy HD myself.

The only show I enjoyed watching is the Sexcedera. The porn movies just dont do anything for me. The night calls show and live calls in are just ok but they seem fake usually the live girl seems like she dont want to be there.
