Poll, Do you have your NEW smartcards yet?

ViP722 units shipped "recently" don't need the purple cards. The new system is built in.

I have two ViP722 units- one got the card, the other didn't need one. I also got a card for my 508.

They sent 2 cards for my old 310's, But not for my 211's that pop up is starting to get to me!

The new cards prevent hackers from stealing service from Dish. At least until the hackers develop new methods to hack the new cards.

Has anybody with AT&T/Dish received the smart cards?

Finally received my card today, no problems with the installation.

I also now know my 16 digit DISH account number....

Cool so they haven't forgotten us. I had to replace the 622 receiver (kept rebooting) and the replacement has the new smart card, so it's one down 3 more to go for me.

Two cards received and installed in my 722's. No problems at all.

Got cards for my 722, 622, and two 5xx receivers last Thursday... plugged them all in, they rebooted and started up without a hitch.....

Nice touch, they had pictures of the receivers underneath so I knew which ones went where.... The two 5xx receivers made me check the R00 number on the back, but the other two didn't need that....

That can't be the case, because I just switched to E in March of this year and I have not gotten a new card yet either. And no my 722 does not have the right code to not need one.
