Possible new Whole Home system?

I came across this picture while on the Humax site.
And I found it quite interesting.

Has anyone seen this before, or heard of this as an actual possibility for a new Whole Home system?

I checked the other site, and also found them sort of talking about it, But the talk they have going on is BLAH BLAH BLAH.
And Like usual James has the thread High jacked like usual because he thinks he so smart.

But anyway I'll bring its here, and let's hear what the SatelliteGuys professionals have to say.

I guess the cable modem in it is for just connecting the clients to the gateway?

I think HU Max is a manufacture of the genie.

I think there are like 4 manufactures such as technicolor

One thing we missed on that diagram is that it doesn't show a satellite dish connected to the headless gateway. It just shows the cloud head-end. Maybe that is for cable companies and they just used the DTV Genie box image for it because they didn't have an image of the cable box yet?
