My backdrop is from a trip over to our summer getaway last year. I tend to clutter the desktop with current projects, then clean up stuff from time to time. You can see all my Folding at Home machines mapped so I can use InCrease to monitor them.

CTL+ Print Screen if you are on Windows. You then can paste it into ms paint and save as a bmp or jpg.

This is Avril Lavigne. I'm a big fan, and I love her jacket.:D

I keep all of my programs in my dock on the left side of my screen. Where I used to work had Mac's and I loved the dock on the Mac, so when HiFi got me this pink laptop and it had the option, I was so excited.

This is a picture my 6-year-old son took at the zoo earlier this year... I'm using a Windows 7 theme (actually running XP) that I found last week.

Yeah, he was hilarious, carrying our DSLR around with the strap around his neck and his hat turned backwards, just taking pictures of everything.

A couple of guys came by with really big cameras, tripods, etc - not sure if they were pros or just really avid amateurs - and said something to him about looking "like one of us," and that just made his day...

Here is my desktop with a photo of the moon that I took earlier this year.
