South Dakota Public Broadcasting programming is now available in high-definition to PrairieWave Communications cable customers.
The company announced last week it is offering the high-definition signal of KCSD in Vermillion on channel 600. The station will be available to communities in eastern South Dakota and southwest Minnesota that currently offer high definition.
PrairieWave also offers four HD cable networks - ESPN HD, HDNet, HDNet Movies and Discovery HD and the local CBS, ABC and NBC affiliates. It also offers three premium HD programming services: HBO HD, Cinemax HD, and Showtime HD.
