Primestar H V scan question

The Primestar lnbs I have require the 18v to be continuously on the to power the lnb for both polarities.

I have 2

I have 2 P*'s dishes both with the original lnbfs and both are voltage switching and require 14/18 volts or lets say they work using those voltages...

I think I will just upgrade the LNB with one of those Galaxy Marketing that I posted above. Any thoughts?

They will work fine. You might have to take the plastic off the LNB right behind the eye to fit it properly in the groove. I used a Sadoun dual on my P* dish

Can a multiswitch run through a diseqc switch?

I tried another Primestar LNB that I have, and got the same thing: only duplicate V and no H. It is hard to imagine that H is bad on both LNBFs.

I have H and V running into the multiswitch (which I tested in post #17) then the multiswitch runs into diseqc port 4.

On the Coolsat I have LNB Power On; Single; 10750; 22khz off; diseqc 1.0; committed 4

Yes, a multiswitch will work fine together with DiSEqC switching.

I usually take a FSS lnb (c120 flange) and replace the stock P*. The FSS bolts right up to the feedhorn. Then scan V only.

Exactly what I have done on my 1 meter Channel Master at 125W. Works like a charm.

yes you can. I have 2 multiswitches set up to diseqc switches
one has the exact same P* LNB (the stock model)
the other is for 99W C-Band (to go to 4 receivers)

and did you try switching the wires around on the lnb?
