What is Project EON (Extendable Optical Network)? I received a card on my door a couple of weeks ago from COX apologizing for the work in my neighborhood. Then Verizon had trucks of fiber being installed starting earlier this week.

EON is a network improvement project. Another market? Phoenix is going through it too, and we haven't had a network upgrade since Cox bought Dimension Cable/Times Mirror's cable unit.
Wow! That goes back many years! When did Cox buy out Dimension, in 1990 or maybe earlier? That's a very long time with no upgrade. How many channels do they offer there?
I just looked at the Phoenix lineup. There is no way they could offer that many channels without having done more than one major upgrade since it was Dimension.
