? Purchase Hughes hardware

Hi:
I'm thinking of getting Hughes internet. Leasing the hardware is not attractive the buying it from Hughes seems overpriced. Can I buy new hardware from another source?

Having worked for Hughes, prior to the sale to Echostar, doesn't Echostar make the receivers/hardware? So I would say no. But then . . .
