Question about 722K

How much is a HD storage port so you can save recorded shows and movies?? Can you purchase it anywhere or just through Dish??

Are you talking about a USB external hard drive? If so, cost depends on how big, where you buy it, etc. Presently there is a 1.5 GB ceiling for the 722, though some have used 2gb successfully. Most people here are using WD drives, AC powered a must. Also, you will have to pay a one time $40.00 fee to Dish to activate the feature. Dish does not sell EHDs. I think you mean TB not GB and the limit is 2TB external storage devices are supported.

As far as what most people use that is another discussion...Dish DOES sell and external unit but you are much better off buying from an online etailer (amazon, new egg etc) or look for local deals at the big box store near you.
