Question about Dish Pro Plus DPP Separator #123254

I am not a pro when it comes to switches, etc.... I recently upgraded from a 522 w/Dish 500 to a 622/Dish1000. I am trying to understand what the installer did. My Dish 500 had a dual RG6 coming in to the house. The installed that did my Dish 1000 is only using one of the two RG6's and has it going into a Dish Pro plus DPP separator #123254 - then into the 622. Is this correct? In if it is, what can I do with that other RG6 that is just hanging there now?

that is correct, second cable, how about off air antenna, for local HD channels would be a safe bet

Excellent. Now anyone have any suggestions for a good over-the-air HD antenna. I would like to find something small....
