Sorry for this question, but can anyone tell me if Dish charges you two separate DVR fees if you have two separate DVR boxes? I have a 722 and am contemplating buying another box with a DVR. I haven't been able to find the answer to such a simple question... thanks!

Yes. Dish charges a fee PER DVR. If you have two DVRs boxes you get charged two DVR (Because We Can) fees.

But remember that if you have the DVR-Advantage plan (why wouldn't you?), the DVR fee is currently included for one receiver.
If you are already on DVR-Advantage, but were locked into an earlier contract arrangement that did not permit the plan to include this fee, the addition of a second receiver will make you eligible for it. We would need to know the details of your current billing to determine the outcome.

Correct. America's everything pack has no DVR fees period... Even if you have 6 DVRs there are no DVR fees on that package.
The "additional receiver" fee is charged, but not the DVR fee.
