question about my 18 month commitment

Hi,
Can anyone answer this...have 7 months left on my 18 mo. commitment,have a VIp622 with Dishgold.What's the lowest level of service I could downgrade to and stay in compliance with the contract? I heard I could drop HD programming and only sub to top 60,could I go to family dish? My other option is to pay the $13 a month fee. Am seriously considering AT&T U-verse.

If you lease the ViP 622 I believe you are required to keep at least the Bronze HD package. If you are willing to send back the receiver and get an SD one then you can go down to the family package.

I believe you must maintain a "metal" HD package as part of the 622's lease agreement, so HD Bronze is as low as you can go.

Ride out the remainder and let U-Verse mature. Let others be the beta testers....
