According to the D* website there are two retailers in my area. One is HH Gregg and I was wondering if any has any experience ordering through them. Also, would they have their own install team or would they have D* chose a random installer like when you order online.

Why don't you just give them a call and ask for a couple references? Retailers usually have their own installers -
I'm not really concerned about references. Just don't want to get stuck with the company D* tried to send out. If they have their own install team, then it's most likely not them.
I might call and ask who does their installs. In house or contract to someone in town.

HH Gregg refers to D* to select the installer so that's a no go. There is only one other company in town that is a retailer and I plan on stopping by there tonight. I have a feeling its the same company that won't install my current order....
