Question for a friend...

She doesn't have HD TV now, but may get one in the future. Will the Vip 222 work on a non HD TV? All she has current are SD tv's. I'm trying to convince here to go with Dish Network.

Rather her get a HD capable now, instead of having to pay for an upgrade later.

Your help would be appreciated.

yes, with that being said the 222 has coax out for channel 3 but the 222K will need an OTA module sold seperately. We have run into issues running tv1 and tv2 on the 222K tv2 port.
You could also buy a RF modulator if her tv is coax only.
