Question for anyone who has received a refund after cancelling DTV

Just got a bill with zero balance due and Account Disconnected in large print.
It has line that says automated refund 82.00.
Should I expect on my credit card or will they send some kind of debit card?
My guess is option 3 They won't send me anything.

Refunding to the payment source, your credit card, is pretty common when a refund is offered. More commonly these days, is that your subscription continues to the end of the current paid period, but that does not seem to be the case here.

They told us they would send us a preloaded visa since we used our debit card. be prepared not to see the refund for 60 days . we live in a state where there forced to prorate services once there disconnected. since you used your CC i would keep an eye on that since they can't legally give you money back. as i am guessing they will refund your credit card.

when i left, they gave me the option of now or at the end of the period.. i also got a prepaid card for the remainder even though i was a CC-billed customer.

there sending us a pre loaded visa. we told em to cut it that second!!! the rep was like you won't be back will you!!! i said nope worst customer service on the face of this planet!!! though they wanted to know what we would be gaining by going with dish i just said the hopper 3 and explained it to her LOL

I cancelled during the first week of May … received a prepaid card the first week of July. After jumping through a few hoops, I was able to transfer the funds from the card to my bank account. Once that was done, I called to cancel the card as it seemed weird to just leave that hanging out there somewhere.

The whole thing is odd … why not just refund to the card on file??

Got my prepaid Directv Mastercard debit card today for 80.82. After I got it activated, I added to my Amazon account real quick and made a purchase real quick before they could charge me the 3.00 monthly fee that was noted in the activation instructions.
I was surprised I got the refund this quick based on the allow 60 days posts in this thread.

Since DIRECTV escaped from AT&T they are quicker than they used to be. Took me only 10 days to get a VISA Debit card from the perks program and any discount I receive now are always applied immediately to my account instead of them waiting for a month or two to apply the credit.

the 15.00 credit would appear on the next months bill as well and not in the time frame it said on the perks website

When I took a $15 Perks credit it showed up on my account page in under 30 seconds.

It's been a month and were still waiting!!! They snail mailed us a come back offer and to call 844-443-3128 . no thanks just give me my freaking money back
