I'm in an apartment moving to a house in another state. I called the Dish Mover number and got it all setup.

The webpage for this says to leave the dish, presumably to entice the next tenant. However, I don't think my landlord would appreciate me leaving it there (its attached to the balcony). Can I just take the dish with me? I wouldn't mind having it to take on road trips, but I don't want to hold onto it if I'm gonna get into trouble for doing so. Anybody have any insight?

I don't know what their policy is but if I was leaving the state and my landlord said to take the dish, I would take it. When they come to install the dish at your new place bring it out. They will probably reuse or take it with them. Call dish or do their live chat thing and tell them the landlord doesn't want it there and see what they want you to do.
