Got a 1.0 meter dish I am giving away. I picked this up from another satelliteguys member this past summer and I thought it was a 1.2m dish.
But it measures 40" across x 43" high so its a 1 meter dish. I rigged up a Primestar mount to it and it works real well. The elevation is off by maybe a degree when I use the pole in a bucket. The pic of the elevation I was aimed at 95W which is about 38 1/2 degrees on a fixed dish.

FREE!!! You just gotta come get it or maybe work out something. You get the dish/mount/LNB and heck if you want the 5 gallon bucket of concrete with the pole you can take it too. I just dont have a use for it (no you dont get the wrench that is in the pics) ;)

I'm a few miles west of Mystic Lake Casino and Valleyfair

PM me if interested

I wonder what it would cost to UPS just the dish and arms down here to Iowa?

I picked up a Primestar dish in this size, the original mount is for a 3" diameter pole. Haven't tried it yet, how does yours perform, Ice?

Looks like my old primestar retailer 1meter dish, but that is a -02 with -02 mold
Mine is on a 2"id pipe aimed at 30w now.

be careful not to over-tighten the bracket holding the lnb.
Originally it was designed for the primestar lnb and with a universal ku I tightened too much and cracked the plastic.

works real well. Didnt see much difference on the stronger TP's but the weaker ones it helped alot. Coiuld get some of the 116.8W stuff and here in MN its on the fringe so a 30" wont work...not that there is much on there I'd watch

If I could place this on the deck I'd have it fixed at a satellite..but the roof blocks all (pole is too short) ;)

just aimed it at 125W to see how well it picked up all the feeds
quality on the Manhattan
12180...76
12140...74
LPB....between 60-70
Montana PBS...70-71
OETA...82

so yeah it works great on that sat :)

Are you reading my mind? I intend to swap some dishes around this week, and was thinking that the big round Primestar would go to 125W.

I was more trying it because in another thread I mentioned if I hone in on Montana PBS LPB doesnt work and vise versa. This dish gets both

I have a person locally who is interested in picking it up. I just have to verify :)

The holes dont line up between the dish and the Primestar mount

This is the dish I got this past summer from another member here and it had the big C-Band mount on it. Also thought it was a 1.2m dish but it isnt. The issue is that C-Band mount was a 3 1/2" mount so the bucket theory wouldnt work. So I scrapped it (yep scrap metal) and used the Primestar mount. The wood made setup easier

Dish is spoken for and will be picked up this weekend

Since its a good member here I know it will be going to a good home :)

The dish is gone from my house

DiscoLoveGrapes came to the house and picked it up....the whole kit and kaboodle (including the pole and bucket o concrete)

Glad he could give it a good home :)

Cool! He got himself a genuine "Iceberg Instant FTA Kit!!!" :D

yep. And now I didnt have to get rid of it in the trash. My garbage man dont care what I throw in there but bucket of concrete he'd probably get mad at when he tries and grab the garbage container
