I just saw the video on TV and it is a tragic event that should have never happened. I feel really said for his 8 or 9 year old son that watched the entire thing happen. Also what do you think is going through Josh Hamilton's mind right now as it was from a ball that he tossed up into the stands. A kind act by a player gone tragicly bad.

This was the 3rd one to fall at that stadium, but the first one to die.

OMG...OMG...OMG!!!! I just saw that with his child sitting right there to see it. How terribly sad! This is awful!

Heard about it on the radio...I won't even watch the video. I don't think I can take it. Just so tragic.

And the second fatal fall at a MLB ballpark this season! In May, a 27-year-old man died after he fell about 20 feet and struck his head on concrete during the seventh inning of a Colorado Rockies game.
Yeah that's right. Wasn't he trying to slide down the hand rail? It's sad to see these things happen in a place where you go to have a good time with family and friends. I just heard the man last night who died, died from cardiac arrest

He really didn't do anything from what I saw in the video. He just... slipped...
yeah thats what it looked like to me. he didn't do that much for this to happen. he literally slipped . i can tell you that maybe the guy who tried to grab him is kind of weak but if that was me he doesn't slip out of my hands. no way. but i understand not everyone could handle grabbing on to a person of this size. he wasn't a little guy.

They showed it a little while ago on my local news, and I had to turn away. That poor little guy had to witness his father's death........absolutely heartbreaking. :(

His son really didn't see him die. He just saw him fall. So did have a heart attack and not have any other injuries? I had to change my post because I was on my iphone at the time.

he had a head injury. although he was conscious and asking about his son, there was a lot of blood.
