RayBan Meta Glasses and Display 2025

The Augmented Reality feature where a "How To" video was playing while you had your equipment in front of you would be super helpful, especially if you could skip back by asking it to repeat a step, and automatically pausing while you perform the operation and then starting back up when you said "Continue" or "Go on" without needing to touch anything (especially if it was a nasty old ICE you were tearing down and repairing with your greasy gloved hands) would be game-changing.

In my old job, we had to physically inventory Coil Storage Bays. To have AR glasses that would superimpose what the Database says is in a storage bay versus what is actually there would be a time saver.

This is a very vertical term. Are we talking rolling mill, electronics, or something else?

I'm trying to picture the image you're trying to convey.
Coils of cold-rolled and galvanized steel, between 8 and 64 tons. Stacked up to six bays high. I was looking through my photos to see if I had any from inside these areas, but they are off-limits when operating. Apparently I was good and didn't "appropriate" any proprietary images…

Well, maybe not as innocent as I thought:

You can see the coils stacked in the background. The painted coil is a test article used to validate the scales and is used for positioning tests.

Currently there is no feature to play a "how to" video like from You Tube streamed from your iphone to the Rayban Display. Maybe in the future. The only playback is of a recording you made with the glasses earlier. Even instant replay. This is also video in the Meta app library on your iphone which would stream to the glasses display. Videos recorded on earlier Rayban Meta glasses are not playable in the Display.

Work around- Play the how to video and record the playback with your Display glasses. Now you can play back that recording later.
