Anyone have any idea how I can get the RC64R Directv remote to be able to turn on my Harmon/Kardon AV146 receiver? On the original receiver remote, there is a dedicated on switch and an off switch. When I program the RC64R remote, it only is able to turn off the receiever, yet not turn it back on. Any ideas?

I'm sorry but my answer probably isn't the one you're looking for.

The RC64R only has a limited capacity. H/K and Onkyo are (IMHO) top of the line receivers and have features many remote manufacturers can't fit in their "All-in-one" remotes. I would venture a guess that you will be searching for a new "Learning" remote in the near future. This way you can teach it what behaviors you want it to perform. Otherwise, enjoy the remote shuffle.

You can't expect a sat oem remote to give you something that NO HK oem remote has, a power toggle. If HK remotes don't have this command, where does directv get it?
