Recording Freezing...can't continue - FX

My setup - Genie (HR44-500), HR24-500, Wireless Genie Mini

While watching American Horror (FX) on the HR24 that is recorded on the Genie, the picture freezes at the 45 min. mark then asks if I want to delete. This is the second time this has happened with this show. It happened on the first and third episode.

I go to the Genie and when I get to the same spot in the show, it does the same thing...freezes then after 10-15 seconds asks if I want to delete.

It's a known problem with some shows on FX and the Genie, something in the guide data that the Genie does not like. There's nothing you can do in your system to fix it. But I believe if you add an hour to all the recordings on FX that's a temporary fix.

it happened to me on ep2 of the bastard executioner (didnt realize the show wasnt supposed to over when i watched it). adding an hour is probably a bit long, but 15 min should work.

Some people have reported 15 minutes does not always work..

On Demand cuts off at the same time. I watch the Bastard Executioner on FX Now.
