Recording question about my 722

Okay I have a quick question. When I was with Direct if I had been watching a program and say halfway through the program I wanted to record it and I hit the record button it would record the program from the beginning. Now with Dish if I do the same it only starts recording from when the time I hit the record button(it doesn't record it from the beginning like direct does) Whats the easiest work around on this? Thanks

The 722's buffer is 1 hour. Hit the skip back to the start of the show, then hit record.

Actually you would want to hit the rewind button. You would have to hit that skip back button an aweful few times to get back to the beginning lol. When you hit the record button it will give you a list of options.

Or if your were tuned to that program from when it started, press record button. Then select the "Options." A pop-up screen appears providing recording options. Choose "Record Entire Event," and it will automatically save the recording from the beginning and stop at the scheduled end time with no further action.

If the "Record Entire Event" option is grayed out, then you were not tuned to the program from when it started. You would then need to choose one of the other options or rewind back all the way to the start of what is on the buffer, then press record button.
