Dont know when, but the WNEM 5 CBS Mux changed the name of one of their sub channels (5.2) to Great Lakes Sports Network. And tonight they are showing the Red Wings vs the Montreal Canadiens game at 7PM. I am pretty happy about this. I get to watch the Saginaw Spirit on this channel quite a bit, but never the Red Wings! Hopefully there is more sports to come for this channel in the future.

Since GrayTV owns it you'll get more local sports on it. Gray has been getting local rights to sports in many markets where they own stations.
My market (Mankato, MN) we had St Paul Saints (Twins AAA team) games and tons of college sports on it. This spring we have had MN Timberwolves, MN Wild and Twins Spring Training games.

Awesome! Some Baseball would be great. Right now, besides Hockey i see Wrestling and Boxing so far on 5.2. But also lots of other great programming, fishing, outdoor stuff, sitcoms like Friends, Seinfield, shows like NCIS, local news and more. Looking forward to more sports though.

Oh, and i think i found their website?

Code:
https://greatlakessportsnetwork.com/

Kinda weird for a website for a TV channel.

A lot of the sports programming is the same on their sports networks regardless of location. (Like MN, Cleveland, Atlanta etc) Here we get wrestling, boxing, ufc type stuff etc. I noticed you have syndicated programming still. We don't have anything like that on ours but our station here in MN started from scratch.
That website isn't right. I looked at it via twitter and it's just a random site. I saw the schedule via WNEMs site.

If they launched it recently it may take a while to get more sports stuff. Depends on what Gray TV decides to get in that area.

Interesting, I may have to look at the OTA channels around game time and see if they are on down here anywhere.

Today's FOX 17 broadcast is on 17.2 in west Michigan. Got excited when I saw this but I don't have an antenna. 😞
Here is what was in my FB feed about this.

Well, thats good that they have a select number of games going OTA.

I have a friend thats been bouncing between YTTV, Fubo and whatever else he can find for the Tigers games.
