regional sports network question

Last night I just about overdosed on basketball. I subscribe to Choice Extra and do not subscribe to any regional sports packages. I was bored and started flipping through the channels and much to my amazement, I was able to receive every NBA game that was in progress. It was heaven!!! Is this similar to the free previews we are getting from NBA tv? Will the ability to view these regional sports networks be temporary? I was getting Fox Sports Ohio, FS Wisconsin (second night in a row), YES and FS Detroit just to name a few. I was not getting these networks earlier this week. The HD picture on YES was fantastic as was the HD picture on the BigTen network (MSU game). I felt like a kid in a candy shop - so many choices.

NBA league pass is in free preview till NOv 6. That would open most of the RSN broadcasts, whatever is equivelent to what they are using to air the channels in the 750 range.
