Remote help

My daughters R-15 is in the same line of sight as my HR22, so when I use my remote to control my TV it does the same function on my daughters, so if I hit pause, guide on or off and it does the same exact thing to my daughters TV, she doesn't like that. How can I stop that? Thanks for any help.

This is what worked for me.

with HR22 covered, switch the R15 to alternate codeset 00002.

Start by programming code 00002 on the R15's remote directv device:

1. dtv
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 0 0 0 0 2

Now using HR22 remote, enter the menu of the R15:

1. menu> parental, fav's, & setup> system setup> remote> receiver mode>

2. you will see either Directv or AV1/AV2, click whichever to reveal both

3. chose AV1/AV2, the remote should stop controlling the receiver, switch to R15 remote programmed with code 00002

4. press Done, exit the menu
