I have a new RC64, that D* just sent me about a month ago. I was programming it the other day for my new TV and it quit working. I have tried to reset it (select/mute 00001) but to no avail. I did change batteries and all the lights flash when buttons are pressed. Any suggestions? Its for use with an HR20.

Well, I thought I had put it in RF mode, but I guess not. Maybe that is why there are problems. I tried the code to put it into IR mode, but still no go!
If your receiver is in RF mode, then the only way to get the remote to communicate with it is to use the front panel keys on the receiver itself and get IT into IR mode.
With rc64, it will accept RF programming, but all it does is turn off the IR for the SAT & DVR commands in the directv device. And without the RF circuitry on board, it now in state that is useless to any receiver, IR or RF.
