Return Equipment Question

My two years was up and I canceled. They sent the box to return the receivers. I packed up the power cords, remotes, and the receivers. I noticed it said to also return all accessories. (like the B band adapters). I was given B band adapters when I first got installed but my dish got damaged in a storm so I self installed a phase III dish to maintain service (and at the time they were going to charge me $200 to come out and give me a new one) and took the b band adapters off. Of course now I can find them since I didn't need them. Am I going to get dinged for them? Everything else is in top shape and they didn't even ask for the LNB. Will they even care? At least they have two more HD boxes for their shortage now.

IMO they are only worried about the receiver. I could be wrong.

All they care about is the receivers. Most stuff like remotes/bbcs get junked/recycled, not reused.

They will not charge you for missing accessories.

Directv does not require LNBs back like Dish either.

I have had both satellite providers and have canceled from both. Neither time did I send my LNB back and neither time did they care.

You are correct.

They don't care about b bands, remotes, power cords. Nothing to worry about.
