What kind of range does the RF remote have? I was going to mirror the receiver with two tvs. Would it work if one rv is on first floor and other tv is on second floor? Is this even possible? I did it with Dish.

Unless your floors are made of a very dense material, you should have no problem using the remote that way.

Shouldn't be a problem....I have a receiver in a closet in my basement and can access it via RF remote in my 2nd floor bedroom.

But he'll still need two rf remotes for both locations, even with a single receiver.

Why? He could just use one and take it from room to room if he wants to. He certainly could use two.

The main tv will be in the kitchen so I don't really need a remote for that location. When I'm in there its usually the same time and I watch the same channel Mon - Fri.
