rg11

should i buy rg11 at 50ft or stick with rg6?
want everthing to run smooth

I think rg6 should work fine.

For 50ft RG6 is fine. I just used 135 feet of RG6 and it worked perfect. I would say if you get over 250ft then start thinking about RG11.

RG11 would be overkill at that distance...maybe 500 feet but not 50

I run approx 180 feet to one box and the signals are as good as the box 30 feet away

RG-11 is nice cable, but also requires special compression tools, and the fittings are not as easy to come by.
