WHICH ONE? Rochester, MN (#154) or Rochester, NY (#80) locals "coming soon"

Hello,

The slides from Charlie Chat state that Rochester, MN is getting HD locals soon, in addition to a few other markets.

Someone here stated that was a "mistake".

Has anyone confirmed the Rochester, MN is going to get them soon? Dish CSR are clueless except they were able to confirm that we don't have them now. Gee, thanks!

Thanks in advance,

Jason

Upstate NY near Corning
I heard last year the the locals for upstate NY were supposed to be Mid November then around the first of the year followed by "end of the first quarter or 2010". Now we are hearing June 1st is the date.

I was the one that said it was mistake, however intended to be sarcastic (hence the "/end pipedream" footer).

I know they don't go in order of DMA, just frustrating that DirecTV has been offering HD Locals for a while now.

I don't know about Rochester, MN locals; but Rochester, NY locals have been testing on Nimiq 5 for over a month now.

Ahhhhh, I see. Well, from the post above about your locals testing for a while now, your pipe dream may come true before mine does. Mine are not in HD on DirecTV either.
