I could see them starting with OT as a test, but I think the sample size would be too statistically insignificant to judge one way or the other whether or not to implement it during regulation too.
 
The NFLPA will N E V E R go for this as speacial teams jobs will be lost.

I know am probably pissing in the wind here but how about better helmets and stiffer penalties for helmet to helmet contact? Seems alot simpler than modifying a game that's been around longer than television.

Now for the Helmet to Helmet hits ..... If it can be proved it was intentional, Yes.

If it happened because someone moved or ducked then no ...

The league needs to really have a look at this, handing out penalties and suspensions and fines, without even looking to see if it was intentional or just part of the play is dumb.
