Hello there,

i'm trying to get RTPi using a Pansat 1000, i've set up this signal already a few times, and I know it's a little tricky, but this time I can't seem to get at all!!

I'm in London ONtario Canada, i have a 33 inch dish with KU LNB, but I don't get anything.

I know you are suppose to aim at 11822 H 5700 to find the signal and then change it to 121569 H 3003 and skew the LNB.
In London my pointing directions are:
218 AZ, 36 Elev, and 20 Skew.

I think it could be the LNB, it's an eagle star pro, Ku band LNBF, this is the info on it's side:
RF: 11.70-12.20GHz
IF:950-1450GHz
L.O.:10.75GHz
Noise figure:0.5dB
Gain:55dB

I don't know if this LNB is the right one for FTA? is it?

if not, what should I get?

and what are the LNB settings on the receiver.
I hope you guys can help

the LNB will work but you should skew the LNB first

LNB LO is 10750

RTPI is at 12169 H 3003 and coming in right now in Minnesota

Welcome to the group Nigel
is this your first time to setup a dish for fta
218 AZ, 36 Elev, and 20 Skew
is a good balpark figure , from there you might have to make slight adjustments in elevation while watching your receiver meter for an increase in signal , remember small adjustments

i've set up a few of these, and I know it's hard to find, but I don't even get 1% of signal quality.

what should I set the LNB settings to?
