San Diego locals - Quality

Hey guys, How is the quality of the San Diego locals on DirecTV? Are the MPeg2 or MPeg4?

I have noticed the locals to be fair to good PQ most of the time. I think it's mpeg2. Weak especially during Sunday night football on NBC. My Sammy DLP pixelates more and the picture isn't nearly as good as D's Sunday NFL HD stuff. Sometimes I wish I had left my OTA still up.

Why?

All HD locals (except the "national" HD in NY and LA) are MPEG-4. There are more complaints about NBC across the country than about any other channel.
