Hello all Im in NJ Using the Eastern Arc. When I look at DishPointer and dial in Dish 1000.4 I see the sats are (61.5W, 72.7W, 77W) I am reading on this site there is a EA and a WA. Whats the "W" in the sat description? I dont see Dish 1000.4 61.5E, 72.7E, 77E ??
Dont know if there is such a thing. I assume the Dish 1000.4 (61.5W, 72.7W, 77W)
is for eastern ark? I hate assuming.

Thanks Juice

The "W" is short for West. The satellite is 61.5° west of the Prime Meridian, 0°; 72.7° west, and 77° west.

If they were "E" they would be over Europe somewhere because it would be East of 0°.

W is the longitude location of the satellite. 61.5/72/77 W is an eastern arc dish. Western arc locations are 110/110/129 W. An eastern designation satellite would not be viewable in North America. 61.5 E would be European. Hope that helps...
