I would LOVE to find back issues of Orbit Magazine from 1989-1993. Any advice on how to do so would be much appreciated. I actually reached out to the publisher and received a friendly rejection.

Yep, I definitely have checked Ebay a few times. One guy on Etsy had a single issue for sale but it was from '95—later than what I'm looking for.
Ok, like I say it will take awhile, had my house burn down a month ago, still dealing with the aftermath ... 
Anything in particular your looking for out of them, I have a few from that era, I'll make a few scans of ads, etc.. If you'd like to see them. You might want to check out http://theoldcatvequipmentmuseum.org/220/221/index.html it has old Coops Satellite Digest up to when it stopped in 1987.
I received every issue of that magazine. Loved that era. Threw everyone in the trash. Would love to go back and look one over again.

I had saved a ton of them as well! Recycled long ago!
