Sathero SH-200 audible tone / beeper disable

I got my Sathero the other day. I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to turn off the beeping sound. I like to take my time with fine dish alignments but find it extremely iritating and nerve-racking with the meter screaming at me the whole time. I assume that there is a hidden options menu somewhere that I don't know about yet. -Thanks

When you find it let me know....I don't think there is one. I have threatened to open mine and install my own switch for it, but have yet to do it.

If it's a little transducer type speaker a bit of scotch 33 covering the hole(s) can help. It's not off but should, hopefully, attenuate it quite a bit.

Its simple little manual doesn't mention anything about switching off the beeper.

I'm a bit reluctant to open a brand new meter to apply a band-aid like that. I was hoping for a little more eloquent solution but......

No need to open it, just tape a little cardboard over the outside hole.

Or just use scotch,after a couple you won't care.
