Is there any way to delete search history????

Currently there is not, but you can run a few searches and that will phase out your original search, if you are worried about someone finding something "Risque"

If we only had a nickel for each time we requested Dish put a delete option in place (like they already have on their other DVRs) or asked this question...or tried to understand why they think having every letter entered for a search needs to be r re rem reme remem rememb remembe remember remembere remembered. We've posted suggestions on how to improve search here and on their forums but they refuse to improve for their customers.

and your VIP doesn't have 3 tuners, PTAT, Auto-Hop, and a 2TB HD...

It used to have a delete, but they broke it, like many other things. The Hopper is a broken dvr. A shadow of its former self.

My prior 722 and other DVR's had the ability to delete searches. Oh well.

and your VIP doesn't have 3 tuners, PTAT, Auto-Hop, and a 2TB HD...

It also doesn't have timer/recording problems, non-adjustable update schedule, etc.

But it does have two independent outputs w/o the need for another $7/mo for a Joey, and it's $5/mo less to begin with, and it has a built in OTA tuner or two OTA tuners on the MT2 module, plus it can play programs on the EHD through it's Sling Adapter.
