Hi all
Just found out that SEC Network SD is no longer among my channels. I believe the only other option available (HD) is in satellite 72.7 which I can’t receive, being in PR. The question is, as per MGM (which HD version will be moved soon to 110), is the same thing happening for SEC Network? Will an HD version be coming to 110 or 119?
I sure hope so, since it is one of the most watched channels at home!
Thanks in advance for any information!

A lot has happened today....lot of SD removals from some big channels - ESPN, Disney Channel, FOX News, Fox Sports 1, SEC and ACC Network, etc.

This quote is from this thread.

It looks like your SEC Network has been taken down and isn't being broadcast on the Western Arc at all at the moment. I don't know for sure, but I would suspect that once Dish is done with their rearranging (which is supposed to be by the end of July), you will get it back on either 110 or 119 (since it has been said that 129 is no longer going to be used). I definitely don't know about whether it will be in SD or HD, but I know that I lost the ACC network (which was in SD for me), and I really hope that when it returns that it will be in HD.

Suspected as much. Hopefully someone knows for sure soon. I feel your lose of ACC, in the same "boat" here with SEC.

The HD version of SEC Network is currently on 110, TP 22. You should be able to see if it you have the 110 satellite.
Thanks for the information. I do receive sat 110 without issues, but there is no SEC anywhere, nor the Alternates. They used to be on chanel 404. I also checked near 140-160 just in case, but it is nowhere to be found. Do you receive it in channel 404? (How I miss an up-to-date list of uplinks, LyngSat seems to be lagging a bit behind, still shows SEC SD as current, and no HD anywhere...)

I receive it on 408 since I have a VIP211k receiver.

and I am receiving SEC HD on 404-01 on my Hopper3. It is on 110, transponder 22.
Silly me! I didn't even think to go check and see if I had the SEC network. I also have a Hopper 3, and also have SEC HD on 404-01. There are also SEC Alternate HD options on 404-02 and 404-03. Determining the specific transponder is questionable for me, though. Whenever I go into the diagnostics screen and select "Dish", the results vary. For instance, when I first chose channel 404-01, the Dish shown was 110, transponder 22. However, I can exit out, don't change channels, and go back into the diagnostics the exact same way, and get a different result. It might be 119 or 110, with any random transponder. It's very frustrating, and the information provided is not trustworthy.

You don't see any of these in PR? Can you send me a screenshot of your guide - latest channel details I have for SEC networks below...

If it isn't already clear the SEC network is in HD, 110 Satellite transponder 22 channel 408 on VIP. As mentioned above. On my Daughter's Hopper it is 404-1 etc.

Haha. For a while, my diagnostics screen satellite and transponder wouldn't change from sat. 119, tp 5, no matter what channel I chose. It sure is buggy and questionable. (Even though Info-- Recall shows sat 110, correctly). I will reboot my Hopper a little bit later, when no one at home is watching TV anymore... hopefully the guide refresh brings back SEC. Will keep everyone posted.

No luck. I restarted, updated the guide, and disconnected my receiver for 10 minutes and connected it again. No SEC Network on 404 or anywhere else. I can receive 110 tp 22 without issues. I am testing it right now with Sportsman Channel HD, perfectly locked. Also with FX Movie Channel, perfect. But no SEC anywhere. Any ideas?

Let me ask the obvious question, you’re not using a Favorites List that excludes channel 404 are you?

When I turn off my Favorites List to show all channels, I find SEC 404-01 to 404-03 all coming from 110. This is on the WA, so maybe it’s different for you.

But also realize that on Hoppers, channels with number like XXX-XX format are addressed without the dash. So channel 404-01 would be entered as channel 40401.

I got caught be this mapping difference when I went from the VIP722 to a Hopper. On the 722 the Sirius audio channels were mapped as 6002 to 6096. And I couldn’t find those channels on the Hooper; WTF. Then I discovered there were Sirius channels listed in the guide as 68-02 to 68-96 (again, having turned off my Favorites List to show all channels). To get to these channels you have to enter 6802 to 6896. I tried this same scheme with the SEC channels and it seemed to work.

Thanks for the question. No favorites. Each time I’ve made sure I was seeing the “All channels” list. Not subscribed or unsubscribed or something like that.
