Make sure the mast is plumb. You are pretty far north so your elevation will be below thirty degrees. You are on the same lat. as Denver so your azimuth will be around 180.
Turn on the signal meter (in menu / set up/ signal meter) and work slowly. Swing left to right at thirty degrees el and then lower five degrees and try again.
