Is there anything I need to know about before installing this service pack?

I will be installing it on my wife's company's server this afternoon and was just curious.

^^What they said. :)
I have installed it on 4 servers personally including 2 domain controllers. No issues with any of them.

It was painless yesterday doing the install. Took all of 20 min.

After the reboot the antivirus wanted to do an update, requiring another reboot, lol.

SP1 was the bigger headache, in my opinion, due to the Firewall issues. Like most everyone else, SP2 was a non-event for our site. Security does get ratcheted up a notch which further enforces the "don't use your Windows 2003 for surfing" policy.

Now that you have SP2, try installing the Access-based Enumeration kit. If you have a share on the server that contains folders that some people don't have access to (like the root directory for a PST Share) then the user doesn't see what they don't have the rights to read.

SP2 broke something (I don't remember what exactly) in some custom built ASP applications we use. This was fixed by uninstalling SP2 on the affected webservers, no issues on any of our other servers.
