I know similar topics have been posted several time but I cannot find my question. I want to setup a simple single tv in my RV using the Hopper. Can I just run a single cable from this portable dish to my Hopper? I have a 1000.2 dish on the tripod.
I am a beginner with Satellite dishes.

Thanks in advance,

You could mount the Solo on the 1000.2 dish. You will need two cables from the LNBF head to the Solo inputs.

You can then run one cable from the Solo to the Hopper.

I went through the process on the Dish website and selected ONE TV for the Smart Pack, and a message popped up reading, "even with one TV, you can still enjoy the Hopper ..." I was shocked. I though Dish didn't allow ONE TV installs for the Hopper, and included for FREE with the lowly Smart Pack. I must have missed something. Anyway, my point is that if someone has an RV and they only need ONE TV, apparently Dish has FREE installation and FREE upgrade to a Hopper for ONE TV.
