Setting up sling adapter on my hopper

So I plugged it in, what else is there to do? It is on the network already, and I can program from the dish website, but how do I let me iphone app know I can view DVR/shows? When I click watch on my iphone it says yes or no to view information about getting a sling adapter.

Is the red light on the sling adapter? Make sure that internet is connected and reset the Hopper.

On the front of the Hopper there will be a red reset button. You can press this or unplug the Hopper for 15 seconds.

That doesn't wipe it or anything does it? Just redetects stuff?

It doesn't wipe anything. It is similar to resetting a computer.

Ahh, so you mean rebooting...resetting sounds bad to me.

The red light would not come on when the sling was attached to the Hopper in my living room. When I moved it to the Hopper in my computer room, it came on right away and I was able to access the Hopper right away without any reset.

That worked great, everything is streaming now
