Can you please ...please help us out setting our satellite for the first time.
We need to know the coordinates: dish elevation, latitude, which satellite to point to at center etc.....
It seems we are pretty close to what we neeed to be...few degrees....probably need to reset everything.

Thank you in advance!!!!

Sorry ....
My coordinates are:
Saint Augustine, FL 32092
29.56 latitude
81.2longitude

Dish: Fortec Star
Rotor: HH90
Receiver: Coolsat 6000 premium

well...little hard for us to give you those numbers since you neglected to tell us where you are lcoated (zip code/city). Everyone's numbers are different

I have a rotor and I tried to set it up myself but could not...I do not know a lot about it.
I probably need help resetting everything since I moved around.
I need to know how to set it from the beginning.
Thank you!

I would probably do more harm than good (I don'thave a motorized set up). How ever what motor do you have? that will help whoever helps you...someone should be along soon.

Thank you for the answer so far.

I think what we need is the true south location...too.

If you have never aimed a satellite before you might want to aim at just one satellite with out the motor first of all to get the feel for it. That way you wiil be sure you understand how and that your receiver works. I find AMC4 an easy satellite to aim at. But that is not your true south satellite.

Can you tell me what is my true south satellite for Saint Augustine, FL 32092
Thank you
