Hello guys, I am about to go up and setup my FTA system, but before I have a couple of questions. My zipcode is 92694 (Latitude = 33.546, Longitude = -117.631). I have a coolsat 6000 / Fortec 36"with a HH90 motor, Invacon Quad LNBF. Now my questions are: Do I have to tilt the LNBF with a motorized system or leave it at zero? And according to my location, what is the best satellite for the setup? Once again, thank you.

I could not get your zipcode to work , but If I am right , check out the following for your due south sat ;

SatMex 5 116.8W 178.5 164.7 51.0 -1.3

http://www.lyngsat.com/sm5.html

Anik E2 118.7W 181.9 168.2 51.0 1.6

I do not find that sat on lyngsat.com ?

On a moterised setup , set the skew at zero , top dead center .

for a motorized setup, the LNB skew is 0

uh oh....there really isn't a TS for you. The best thing to do is to setup the receiver with your latitude/longitude and use USALS to go to either 119 (need to use the circular side) or Satmex5 at 116.8 (use the linear side). The motor will move to that spot then mount dish and aim towards that satellite.

118.7 isnt a satellite anymore.....His options are 119 (Circular) or Satmex5 at 116.8(linear)

I suspected that might be the case . It was listed in one program but not present on lyngsat.com .
