I was on the roof of a shopping mall yesterday removing a 10 foot C-band dish that the owner wanted gone.
While on the roof I noticed a fibreglass DTH dish that looked about 4 feet. It looked a little different than most DTH dishes so I went over for a closer look. There was a very faded sticker and I could make out DMX.
I thought about this for a moment and then I remembered Shawcable had a Muzak like satellite audio service many years ago. Does anyone know if this service is still operating?
This is a huge mall with over 150 stores, and the caretaker has no idea which store is/was using the dish. He says that I can have the dish if we can determine that the service is no longer active.
