Historically, DISH doesn't do well with the first iteration of any new product. I personally wouldn't want to be DISH's guinea pig for the new EA system until it was certain all the bugs are worked out. Remember most of the satellites there are aging birds, the LNB is a new one that hasn't been in regular use, etc. Sure, the 1000.2 has a weak 129 but that should end in November, and you could always use a second dish for the 129 or even get 61.5 if need be. In the end, the 1000.2 LNB has been quite reliable.
When DishProPlus Twin LNBs first came out, they were unreliable, when the 1000 dish came out, it had insufficient gain on 129, 522 was replaced by 625, 622 was replaced by 722, etc.
