My antenna hell continues.

I am a D* customer with a H10 receiver (for HD programming) and I use a DB2 antenna mounted on the roof for my locals. I dig D* and the NFL Sunday Ticket (my reason for being with them), but am not in a position as of yet to put up the AT9/5LNB dish to get my locals in HD an am frustrated at having to walk outside, climb up on the deck to move the antenna around. Cable is looking attractive again. At least it wouldn't require a blasted antenna.

Anhow, I have a question regarding signal attenuators.

I get every channel in, sans one. I am only 14 miles from all the towers, which are directly north of me. It appears to be a multipath issue with the channel, as the signal bounces all over, from 0% to 80% to everything in between.

I've been through the Winegard Sensar II, Zenith Silver Sensor and now the Antennas Direct DB2 (the DB2 is the best of the bunch IMO).

Anyhow, could my multipath problem be solved with a signal attenuator or is this going make things worse? The other channels come in strong (77-100%).

Should I try a signal attenuator?
