On S9 (S 90%, Q, 75%) --> Promo channels clear
On 612 (S: 0-20%) --> Promo channels break up every few seconds.

Well it looks like one tuner is more sensitive then the other, first though I'd switch the two receivers around to double check your system and make sure there are no flaws at your end.

As well I'm sure you know but you can't compare the numbers from one receiver model to adifferent model, there just isn't any standard

Am aware all tuners are different but this is one heck of a gap.

Sounds like the S12 switch setting is wrong and the unit is entering the automatic switch search mode.

Any switches inline?

Any internal switches in the LNBF? Single? Legacy or DP?

What brand and model LNBF?
